The Department of the Holy Qur’an and its Sciences seeks to prepare academically and educationally qualified cadres distinguished by their teaching skills and creative abilities who are able to compete in the local and regional labor market, and to prepare researchers in the field of the Qur’an and its sciences, through distinguished faculty members and prescribed and approved courses according to quality standards and academic accreditation
1. Preparing qualified and specialized cadres in the field of the Qur’an and its sciences and teaching methods capable of practicing life and advancing the nation according to the teachings of the Holy Qur’an, and capable of competing in the labor market. 2. Connecting students to the Book of Allah, by recitation, memorization, belief, word and deed. 3. Showing the greatness of the Holy Quran by conducting research and scientific studies related to the Quran and its sciences. 4. Developing the academic, educational and professional field for understanding and teaching the Holy Qur’an and its sciences through conducting specialized research and scientific studies. 5. Contributing to community service and solve its problems through lectures, seminars and scientific conferences. 6. Providing legal, scientific, educational and research advice in the field of the Holy Qur’an, its sciences and teaching methods. 7. Achieving scientific and creative excellence in the fields of the Qur’an and all its sciences through access to modern curricula in education and knowledge and benefiting from them in the service of scientific truth.
