Preparing students to be a teacher specialized in teaching geography and geographic information systems. 3. Providing students with modern educational and geographical knowledge and its technical applications to suit the educational outputs with what is required by the local, regional and international labor market. 5. Enabling students to use computers to deal with GIS and quantitative information systems. 6. Enabling students to employ modern teaching methods and means and their cognitive capabilities acquired during the years of study in various teaching and functional situations. 7.
