  • The Department of Sharia and Law seeks to build a generation distinguished by science and Sharia knowledge, capable of working in all judicial authorities and legal institutions with skill and competence, and capable of conducting legal and Sharia research that contribute to resolving community issues within a scientific methodological framework in accordance with internationally approved quality standards.

Goals
  • 1.Developing the student’s abilities to derive judgments, analysis, and purposeful reasoning. 2.Preparing a generation specialized in Sharia and law to be a project for a judge and lawyer with competence, honesty, ethics and a good example. 3.Upgrading the scientific level through the work of contemporary applied scientific research and finding solutions to the problems of modern society. 4.Providing the judicial bodies with academically qualified cadres who understand the Sharia and legal sciences applied in court bodies and law firms. 5.Linking theoretical studies with applied aspects related to courts, prosecution offices, and legal practice to achieve qualified legal training. 6.Efficiently evaluates national laws and international laws and treaties. 7.Providing the student with legal knowledge related to Yemeni and international legislation that qualifies him to integrate into the legal profession. 8.Create a competitive environment among students in the field of Sharia and law.
